we as asian people really gotta start naming our cats things like casserole and coleslaw to fight back against all the white people naming their cats miso and mochi
Imo the best way to move on from heartbreak is respecting their decision, I know it sounds too moral and righteous but I'm being fr. Understanding that they have autonomy, they make decisions for themselves, and they know better than *anyone* what's best for them. They made the decision not to want you in their lives, what else can you do about it. Literally nothing, end of discussion. It doesn't stop the pain but I think one of the things that makes you attached to someone is thinking that you're entitled to their love because of any history or some soulmate delusions. The reality is that they decided they don't want to share their days with you, it's simple but not easy. They thought about it, and they decided they don't want to wake up next to you, fall asleep next to you, share their good news, their dreams, their stress, and their pain with you, they decided you're not the person they want to talk to every day, etc. That's a bunch of decisions, and they made them. What else can you do about it, literally nothing
The love you receive from someone who knows how to be alone is the most sincere. A solitary soul that loves you by choice, not out of a need for company.
@yvessirae So many of these issues can be resolved by men understanding women are humans.
Would YOU want to be in a situation where your girlfriend is liking pictures of other men? No? Then why would your girlfriend?
relationships are so fucking simple. if it upsets your partner, don't do it. if you wouldn't want it to be done to you, dont do it. if you have to keep it from your significant other, dont do it. if you have yet to grasp this, grow the fuck up. if you don't grasp this, you'll always end up alone.
