At long last, victory has been won for the Bruce family:

The Board of Supervisors has voted unanimously to return Bruce’s Beach to the great-grandsons of Willa and Charles Bruce. After more than a year of hard work, today we have made history and taken a step towards justice.

We do still need the State to lift restrictions and let the property be transferred from the @CountyofLA to the Bruce family.

That’s why we also passed another motion sponsoring SB 796, a bill introduced in the Legislature by Sen. @SteveBradford which does just that.
