If you’re a cow in winter, you might get to eat boring old grass, and not much of it because it doesn’t grow. Maybe some hay (dry grass).

Or you could be these cows and get to eat #Kale (it’s a super-food!), Beets and #Lucerne baleage. That’s 3 awesome, highly nutritious feeds!

Hi everyone - please encourage people to check Cattle (+ horse) pastures.
Vigilance is required after we found Ergot fungus in one silage paddock. It is potentially very toxic to stock. Little black banana shaped bits are the Ergot in an otherwise healthy looking silage paddock

@HoggAngus @sas_sloan @timgortonz @1newageagri @laurajeankeenan @mark_evans2000 @deanrabbidge Prey insects include: hoverfly larvae, which eat eggs and small caterpillars, paper wasps, which chew up caterpillars and feed them to their larvae; lacewings and ladybirds eat moth eggs; tiny parasitic wasps parasitise the caterpillars. Google may have helped me a little 😉

Best to consult with your local retail rep for the best product and spray timings.
