After a day of scrolling through so many heartbreaking pictures and videos, there was something about this one that made me pause. There was something about the empty chair.

But now the chair is empty, and my heart is challenged. In a world where so many bow to the gods of this world… A world where so many are consumed with their own self promotion… In a world that has turned its back on God, who will have the courage and boldness to stand?

The number of baptisms we have been able to do this summer has been humbling and exciting! From my daughter to a group of 6 today, it has been a blessing to see people take that next step! It’s exciting to see God changing lives here in Montana!

Going to challenge our church in January to try to do one verse a week. At the end of the year they would know 52 verses and what they truly mean… Which is probably roughly 52 more than they would know if they just planned to “read their Bible.”

We have been talking through how practically to study the Bible the last two weeks. One couple shared tonight, “We’ve never been in a church that actually taught us how to study the Bible for ourselves before.” That makes it all worth it! Here are the pages we all went through:

It’s such a blessing to see the people at the church get excited about inviting their friends to church. We had 122 people in service today and many were first time visitors! God is working in this small town here in the Mountain Northwest!
