On 5/3 we responded to possible drownings of 2 little girls in their family's pool. 1st responders found the sisters unresponsive & performed CPR before they were taken to the hospital in critical condition & put on life support. Stories like this don't usually end well, but we're so pleased to share that these 2 miracles were released from the hospital today with no long-term effects. Callie & Zoey stopped by EPD w/their parents to thank members of EPD, EFD, AMR and Edmond Dispatch! This meant more to us than they can possibly know!

We’ve had a jump in COVID-19 hospitalizations the last 48 hours in metro OKC, going from about 300 to about 400. 90% of COVID-19 patients in OK hospitals are unvaccinated. Yes, lots of folks are testing positive right now, but vaccinated are largely staying out of the hospital.
