@Seibrik Like others have pointed out, this does not seem to achieve more range than just holding forward (running) the entire time. It looks like characters get a “boost” from the dash grab animation but that happens regardless, so it’s better to run to cover more ground beforehand.
@Goljee1 Hello! You weren’t wrong (kinda).
I’ve tested this outside training mode—two Foxes, two controllers, and using the frame-by-frame feature. P1 Fox can footstool P2 Fox holding shield, but P2 Fox cannot foostool P1 Fox holding shield. I’m certain it is a matter of port priority.
Ramram FSmash hitbox visuals, interpolated by hand. (They're jagged but should be accurate). Angled down and spaced correctly, it's in the area to 2-frame for a whopping 8 frames.

Here's a visual aid of Min Min's Megawatt FSmash, with help from upcoming Zeckemyro hitboxes. The purple is the first frame (and it's tiny), but has the same power as the green. The green is a weak hit. The red is the strong hit. The blue is the weakest hit.

Here's a hitbox visual of Min Min's Dragon FSmash. Power Dragon is next. Refer to the top for hitbox colors. There's a hitbox on the body/arm but I don't know what it looks like so I'm leaving it out instead of guesstimating.
An interesting interaction in the Link Steve MU:
If Link gets grabbed by a Minecart which then hits his bomb, he breaks out taking almost no damage or hitstun. It can also open up for some niche reversals which might be useful if you're not gonna use the bomb as a pressure tool
@h3ro_gcc@SkyLine_161 Impossible to 2-frame given they’ve recovered well. Sometimes 2-frames can be more exposed if the enemy recovers while already close to the ledge, but we tested with sweet spots
@WarrenValion DSmash doesn’t hit as low as FSmash and DTilt so we didn’t test it. Usually the recommended is either FSmash for power or DTilt for speed/safety anyhow
Here are charts of all characters' airdodge distances, rolls, tech rolls, and ledge rolls, all measured manually in the training room.
Full spreadsheet, which also has trip rolls and getup rolls:

4.0.0 gave us a faster Lloid, which means it can now cover even more getups! Planting Lloid at the roll spot is always a great ledgetrap, but be sure to judge for whom it's worth covering the ledge.
@Alltoonedup2, @content_ssb, and I did lots of labbing for this.

@RandyJSmash DSmash 2 has more KBG, but KBG scales with the damage of the move (and other things). So DSmash 1’s 10% & 104 KBG is actually more KB at high %s than DSmash 2’s 8% & 105 KBG
