Post-quantum migration is not search-and-replace. You need a cryptographic inventory, data-lifetime analysis, protocol negotiation, key and certificate migration, rollback rules, and evidence that legacy paths are actually gone.
Start with the inventory.
Last call: focused Beta applications close tonight, July 31 (Asia/Taipei). Pick one bounded 2–4 hour slice; partial, specific findings are useful. No purchase and no endorsement request. RC3 is content-complete, not audited or peer reviewed.

Can you test EPUB or PDF on a real phone, tablet, e-reader, or assistive workflow? The Beta needs named-device evidence: navigation, figures, code blocks, text selection, and readable typography.
Apply for the device QA track.

Cryptography is not a list of algorithms. It is a system of claims, adversaries, assumptions, protocols, state, and failure modes.
Read the focused Beta paths.
A zero-knowledge proof can be sound for its encoded relation while the application is wrong. Missing constraints, public inputs, ambiguous encodings, or a permissive verifier can validate the wrong claim.
Ask what statement the verifier actually accepts.
A nonce does not need to be secret. It needs to satisfy the construction’s rule—often uniqueness under a key. Retries, crashes, cloning, and counter rollback are where that rule quietly dies.
Audit where your nonce state survives a restart.
Four boxes can improve a security review: protected asset → trust boundary → adversary capability → measurable winning event. The missing box is often where the hidden assumption lives.

Beta applications are open for a focused review of Modern Cryptography: A Deep Self-Study Guide. Choose one path—not the whole 300+ page book—and report where it breaks your understanding, code, or reader app.
Apply by August 3.

Encryption can protect bytes and still leave the system insecure. Authentication, key lifecycle, replay handling, parsing, state, and recovery are separate claims—not footnotes to the cipher choice.
Map each claim to the component that must preserve it.
I tried to solve a cryptography puzzle.
A few nearly sleepless days later, I had written a book, created a publishing brand, and launched a website.
This escalated quickly.
I’ve been working through the Kryptos CTF and somehow made it to Puzzle 7. What started as a fun rabbit hole became a much deeper exploration of how classical cryptanalysis connects to modern protocols, zero-knowledge systems, signatures, wallets, and the crypto world I already knew.
After hours of researching, arguing, writing, and building with AI, I created:
Modern Cryptography: A Deep Self-Study Guide
and a new independent publishing brand called Readude.
This is my first time trying to one-shot an entire small business from one idea, and honestly, it feels both ridiculous and incredibly exciting.
The site is now live:

Nothing is for sale yet. Early Access should open in the next week or two.

I can’t wait to share this with everyone.
My ChatGPT/Codex Goals are often interrupted by unstable internet. Since I also do security-related work, I occasionally run into false-positive safety reviews that pause them as well.
This makes long-running Goals incredibly frustrating: you either have to keep watching your computer or remotely access your desktop just to click “Resume Goal.”
So I spent tonight building Goal Watchdog 🥃🐶
It monitors the ChatGPT desktop app in the background, where Codex now lives. When a Goal is paused, Goal Watchdog automatically switches to ChatGPT, resumes it, then returns you to the app you were using.
Now you can scroll X, work in another app, or even walk away from your computer without worrying that your Goal has stopped halfway through.
