@LWLSSofficial@aly_vdl@Rainmaker1973 While I wholeheartedly agree with your comma point, another issue is that the question doesn't specify that ONLY those numerals are permitted in the number. Both B and D have the numbers 4, 8, & one (i.e., a singular) 9; B just happens to have an extrinsic numeral, as well.
@gunsnrosesgirl3 2011 was a bad year. The only things I had were a false belief that I could regain my pre-injury life and a LOT of rehab appointments.
So, there I was yesterday, riding my motorcycle and minding my own business, when, from out of nowhere, a bear charges me!
...no, really. That's what happened.
My bike needs work & my arm's in a cast. I got lucky ; it could have been MUCH worse for me. I doubt Yogi survived.
@gunsnrosesgirl3 I'm usually one to engage in risky behaviours. However, having somebody zap my eye with a laser for no good medical reason is a *little* beyond even my comfort zone.
@gunsnrosesgirl3 Mechanical keys? It sounded like them. If so, they're a plus, but I'd turn the reactive lights off. When writing a thesis or research paper all night, that would get annoying pretty quickly.
@gunsnrosesgirl3 Something my Dad told me when I was a kid.
Actions have consequences. Some consequences are good, some are bad, but they all have consequences. Consider whether you're willing to accept the consequences before you take action.
And not doing anything is an action in itself.
@outwardexpanse@_sysengineer Yeah, I was in the same boat. "Oh, you're paying me? Okay, fine, I'll wear whatever you want me to."
In my last job, though, shorts & flip flops WERE acceptable attire (one of the devs did it all the time). The dress code there was "wear something."
@outwardexpanse@_sysengineer I had to do that, too. It was even dumber since I was onsite, and half of our clients were factories. First rule was always to lose the jacket and tie, for safety reasons.
@TimelessTrvlr @gunsnrosesgirl3 One of my previous bosses (clandestinely) used UT for "network stress testing." We'd go into the server room, play UT, and emerge half an hour later, stress test completed.
It worked - we always felt less stressed afterward! 😂
@Vinod_r108 @gunsnrosesgirl3 Except that they never really dated. According to both Tessa and Scott, they dated briefly when they were around 7, but it was just the typical thing of that age - holding hands. They're both married to other people.
@JessicaTheGreen @gunsnrosesgirl3 I agree with everything but the visibility of the threadwork. While it was terrible, few actively look at their shoes' tongues. It could go unseen for a while.
However, when he pulled the tongue and felt a solid object in one tongue but not the other, he'd know something's odd.
