@BradleyAla61967 I believe PD serves as a reminder for us to be thankful for our health and our ability to live our lives like we are accustomed to, and that a disorder doesn't have to define who we are and how we carry ourselves!
@docgoble (0:04): The bowler's cerebellum works to not only maintain equilibrium as he releases the ball and balances on one foot during the follow through, but keeps his posture and balance in line as he transfers his weight into the throw.
@docgoble (0:49): Proprioception: As Wilson jumps up to catch the pass, he uses his specialized proprioception receptors in his muscles and joints when extending his arms over the defender. It is fascinating to see Wilson know where his body is relative to the defender and the ball!
@Alexamarrs00@YouTube I really enjoy how after every lift in this video, he explains in depth of each muscle that is incorporated, as well as mentioning the average and peak activation from that particular exercise.
I’m taking #EXS3030@OaklanduSHS with @docgoble because I love to learn about exercise science, my major, and want to strengthen my knowledge of human movement as I prepare for physical therapy school. I hope to incorporate information from this class into my own life.
