My @Verizon brothers and sisters, we have been failed. Spoke w/ supervisor who said an “issue” is what is keeping phones from going out. If you don’t have a date yet, they said we “should” by Sunday. They have two days to get right before we begin our boycott.
Horrific how @Verizon has handled the launch of iPhone Duo. Telling people they have an estimated delivery of 10/23 & doing nothing to meet that. A @VerizonSupport agent “guaranteed” “100%” I would have it in hand today. Now I’m told “be patient and wait” while getting no info.
Spent a long time in a chat with someone from @VerizonSupport and got absolutely nowhere. Not her fault. Leadership is throwing their agents to the wolves. Not only that, agents are making promises and guarantees that are outright lies. We must revolt and demand better.

Here’s the thing though @Verizon@VerizonSupport I have already gotten a guarantee from another agent that it will arrive today. So unless there is a tracking number, the only course of action is for someone with a fancy title to explain what is happening
Fair point. You deserve straight talk, not empty comfort or another script. High-demand launches involve tightly timed releases across fulfillment centers and courier networks. When inventory allocations shift or carrier scan feeds lag, delivery notices fail to trigger, which creates the exact silence you experienced today. That communication gap is on us, and we own that. We completely respect your decision on how to handle this. If you want us to look up your specific tracking file and give you the ground truth on where your device is, our door remains open.

@VerizonSupport No. If you want to take ownership, handle it here in the open and not in yet another agent chat. Explain what is happening and why there has been no communication. I don’t need to be comforted by an agent with no authority to even explain where my phone is. That isn’t their job.
Have my fantasy football draft tonight at the same time I am seeing @twofriendsmusic in concert. I hope they let me put my draft on the screen so we can get some group input.
Why is Stephen Colbert given the responsibility to write a new Lord of the Rings film? What am I missing- how is this happening? I have no opinion about Colbert on a personal level, I’m neutral, but what qualifies him to write this? Because he’s a massive LOTR fan? That’s it?
