Tom Brands on the 157 decision via @Emckown23:
"Very close, it's my call" Brands said. "We went with Voinovich for maybe one reason. And that one reason is, a little bit more fight there maybe. Other than that, pretty even."
@DeclanSwain1717@marshallhawk1@hawkeyemuse if youβre on a romantic relationship w jordan just say thatβ¦ does he lay down for you the same way he does the last period of every match?
@DeclanSwain1717@elchosenone1@307Ric_0_Shea@MatScouts1 are you incompetent? are you in the wrestling room? how would you have ANY knowledge on who won the wrestle off? where are your credentials? and to make matters even more humorous, that score is incorrect.
last 5 matches williams is 0-5 voinovich is 4-1.
Another noteworthy item from last night was the fact that Victor Voinovich did not participate in Iowaβs Senior Day activities after the dual.
The fifth year senior missed all of last season due to injury and is likely to apply for a medical redshirt to compete in 2026-27.

This allegedly happened a couple days ago in Mississippi where a white child was beaten to a pulp by a bus full of black students. If things were the other way around there would be a national outrage and the media would he reporting on it non-stop.
In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. These references are not only meritless, but dangerous. There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isnβt a single video clip that isnβt real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far.
As so many pointed out, I was present at Route 91-where so many lost their lives- and our community recently suffered another heartbreaking tragedy. NO ONE, including me, wants to continue to see senseless headlines or families ripped apart.
Try That In A Small Town, for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences. My political views have never been something Iβve hidden from, and I know that a lot of us in this Country donβt agree on how we get back to a sense of normalcy where we go at least a day without a headline that keeps us up at night. But the desire for it to- thatβs what this song is about.
