@MarvinMontanaro He said that 10 years ago. It would be like if Tom said something like that people would just say oh I hope marvel doesn’t listen to him. But they wouldn’t turn against him being Spider-Man for that.
@TayTay20ga In the end, Spider-man is still held up but the MCU. Which helps this version of Spider-Man a lot. Because he seems be the character with the most interaction with other MCU characters in his own movies.
@Sergi_ND That’s likely because they mo-capped TASM’s Lizard with the actor to express his facial reaction. No Way Home was just CGI and the actor doing voice over.
@KolaXMovie Well Tobey seemed to have some idea who they were. So I’m gonna assume Andrew did too. But then the world knew Peter was Spider-Man so maybe it was public knowledge they were his friend.
@SpiderManVibe Some hated him, same way some hate Tobey or Tom. But overall if people really hated him he wouldnt have got the reaction he did in theaters when he showed up in No Way Home.
@smileyboyoff I never got the sense people hated him. Considering the audience reaction to him in No WayHome. It’s just he just kinda fell into the background for a little while because he was the middle child that was neither the first nor the MCU.
@roryofffilm I can see many issues with them. You either laugh at the camp or many moments are just silly. Very much watching people trying to find ways to make them look better like creating the idea of “Bully Maguire”.
@ateiadoaranha Well if you are going to over think it then there is no reason for Peter to create webbing at all. What person thinks hey I should create web and swing around on buildings. Just give him a spider-mobile.
@litteralyme0 I assume you never seen Jim’s past films before? If you hire Jim Carrey you know what type of humour to expect. But then, are we saying Eggman was a serious character? Pft! He has always been a bit of a joke.
