I have nothing personal against Carrick other than the obvious fact, that he seems to be the exact submissive type of manager Wilcox probably enjoys working with. A manger who won’t question his incompetence in identifying the right players who will elevate United.
@Utddoja He’s motivated right. He saw how swiftly Barca moved to sign Gordon and now he wants to prove his doubters at Barca that he’s the man they need more than the second rate player they just dropped €80m on.
@schrutelad Ligue 1 and ligue 2 is where the real ballers are at, especially the type of players who are the most hungry for success, who come from nothing, children of immigrants from countries like Ivory Coast, Senegal, Algeria and the likes…that’s where your Doue’s and Cherki’s come from
@ManUtdLogicJA@Utdtruthful From a sporting and commercial perspective signing Lewandoski especially on a free for a role as a mentor to Sesko is a no brainer.
@ManUtdLogicJA@Utdtruthful Exactly, Welbeck is still under contract at Brighton, meaning we’d still have to pay some sort of fee to get him and still pay his wages on top. Why not just get Lewandoski for free and give him a 24 month contract of £12m a year, that’s just £5m less of what he was making?
@ZekeFooty@rafireyn@Adroit_Cadet lmao Amorim was definitely not him bro, I definitely rate the vision he had for us, but as a manger of Manchester United he failed dismally and most importantly failed the most basic test of emotional self regulation which honestly got him sacked.
@rafireyn@Adroit_Cadet They’ve at least won trophies including league titles and promotions from the Championship to the premier league respectively under their CV’s you muppet 😭Can’t say the same for the current manager can we now?
@_Utdbaki Type of midfield that wins the Champions League back to back. Ederson will come in handy for the prem where we’ll need a ground eater and midfielder to handle the dirty work necessary needed to compete in the prem.
@dybazz21 No he can’t. If you watched his games throughout the season instead of clips or compilations you’d know he’s an outright 8. You could maybe develop him into a 10 depending on the wingers he has around him but he’s not one at the moment.
@JftblUTD The manager who doesn’t have a single accolade or achievement under his name or an obvious style of play other than “Passion for the badge” and “What it means to play for this club” philosophy. Missing out on Iraola will come back to bite Ineos and this club.
