Player Spotlight: Joaquin San Nicolas
(27’ Timberline High School) The sophomore backstop is an elite defensive player. An athletic mover behind the plate w/ a plus arm. He demonstrated his skills in this game by throwing out a runner & catching one sleeping w/ a well-executed back-pick. He's also a solid runner w/ some juice, jumps on a FB here for 2B over the LF’s head. His defensive abilities, speed & bat make him a player to keep your eye on in the 27’ class.

(28’ Orting High School) The freshman LHP has a highly projectable build w/ plenty of room to add strength. His FB features lively arm-side run & he pairs it effectively w/ a well-tunneled slider, mirroring his release point & arm action which keeps hitters off balance.

(27’ Richland High School) A dynamic & high-upside outfielder, Clark brings an exciting blend of speed, athleticism & offensive impact to the field. A plus runner who is a constant threat on the bases w/ good instincts & acceleration that puts pressure on opposing defenses. Despite a leaner frame, he generates loud contact at the plate, showcasing surprising pop & high-end bat speed.
Player Spotlight: Darian Barr
(27’ Eastmont High School) Barr displays an easy, repeatable delivery w/ smooth mechanics, allowing him to work efficiently & stay in rhythm. His FB gets on hitters w/ late life, paired w/ a sharp-breaking SL that tunnels well out of the same slot, adding deception & making his two-pitch mix especially effective. Barr's poise & feel for his stuff make him an intriguing arm to follow in the 27’ class.

Player Spotlight: Joe Giles
(26’ Curtis High School) The LH hitting catcher profiles as a legit prospect in the 26’ class w/ advanced tools on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he consistently finds the barrel & shows the ability to drive the ball all around the yard. He demonstrates advanced plate discipline & a mature approach, rarely chasing out of the zone. Defensively, he commands the game w/ poise & leadership from behind the plate. High-level receiver w/ soft hands & quiet framing ability.
Player Spotlight: Brody Santman
(28’ Sumner High School) The LH made his presence felt all over the field. Earning the start on the mound & hitting in the leadoff spot, he showcased his two-way talent from the first pitch. On the mound, he challenged hitters early w/ a FB that featured arm-side run. He effectively mixed in a plus SL & deceptive CH that kept hitters off-balance throughout. At the plate he drove a ball over the RF’s head that one hopped the fence for a loud 2B.

(26’ Bishop Blanchet High School) The @wsucougarbsb commit showed off his smooth left-handed swing, staying inside a fastball & driving it back up the middle for a 2-RBI single. Creates good separation that allows him to get slotted deep & his barrel to stay in the zone for a long time. Also a plus runner that covers a lot of ground in CF w/ good gap-to-gap range. Added a SB to his line.
