@christopheryuan Indeed! The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America became pro-LGBT by entering into full communion w/the Episcopal Church before the latter started widely ordaining practicing gays. ELCA was forced to take them into its churches as pastors, thus spreading the blasphemy.

@JohnCleese A far better example of faith working in community is given us by The Bible's Priscilla & Aquila, Mary, Joseph, Esther, Abigail, Ruth, and Naomi. Modernity gives us John Wesley, Martin Luther, Wm. Booth, G.K. Chesterton, Mother Teresa, and Stewart Headlam.

I doubt she's of God, for Jesus says of the Scriptures, "These are they who testify of Me" (John 5:39). John Wesley very much agreed. The Bible tells us how to live unto Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

I actually this very day was working on a sermon for this weekend on Revelation 13, from where we get the 666. That actually is the value of Caesar Nero's name in Hebrew when transliterated (spelled as it sounds) from the Greek. His name in Greek doesn't add to 666. The biblical text is χξς, which has to use an obsolete Greek letter, the χ, which reads "stigma," and means "a scar of service" (like "stigmata") to come to 666.
