As cool as MTG is and how killer their card artwork is, they have some of the cheesiest marketing I’ve ever seen. I feel like the game warrants a mysterious & enigmatic advertising to draw people in. They are trying too hard to be a “normal” card game even tho it’s so much more.

That one scene in Dante’s Peak where the grandma sacrifices herself by pushing the boat through boiling water to help her grandkids to safety is one of the most hardcore moments I’ve seen, no joke.
