@milehighami They have just stated that altering the uniform isn’t going to be allowed. Players can still refuse to wear the flag gear and still wear the normal home/ away jerseys. If the mlb said that wasn’t allowed that would be a major law suit for discrimination.
@GMsinyourDMs@daresaypj 2. Some people arnt agents the movement at all but just believe that there shouldn’t be a place for that in the mlb and believe MLB should be a neutral position on things of this nature.
@GMsinyourDMs@daresaypj It’s not just liberals but yes in this case. You can just force people to do something that goes against their beliefs and threaten their jobs/ or with cancel culture should they not comply
@FrancescaHongWI@packers@Brewers@Bucks This is such a bad take, the Knicks winning has nothing to do with that…. Kicks total payroll is over 200m this there starting 5 making all over 30m a year …. Lots of socializing
@KutterIsKing I do belive Ortiz, Chris sale, and Trever story also visited him. He is consulted on most of these injuries for a lot of teams and not just baseball. Sing long out the yanks is just farming for rage bait
@MLBTheShow I don’t know if it’s just the angel city connect uniforms, but when there is this silver or white color scheme, the stat pop ups/ player bar get whited out and become unreadable
@CC_Sabathia@BryanHoch I am glad you do bc I think there are about to be a lot of low scoring games and we are going to rely on SP and rice way to much
@c_rg_too@chron@grok They don’t support any. The rangers owners are good old Texans who don’t care about the money they will make via reaching out to a demographic that wouldn’t normally spend a dime on the sport. publicly say they what every one to be welcome but really it’s about personal beliefs
@chron Millions in ticket sales, merch, and concesiona that wouldn’t have been made with out the event and promotion. most owners are secretly against it but it generates revenue which they do care about. Rangers owner stands for what he believes in and dosnt care about the $
@chron 1/2 Most mlb teams don’t care about pride night they do care about money. Owners are going to lose die hard fans they might get mad but they will still come and spend money. Pride nights Reach out to a demographic that normaly wouldn’t spend a dime on the sport. ………
@jared_shult Good way for teams to make a few extra mil in ticket sales, merch, and vendors. At the end of the day probably 15-25 owners don’t care and some owners are flat out homophobic, but at the end of the day like money soooooo yeah.
@jared_shult At the end of the day what it really is, is a market sceme. Some teams do actualy care but a lot/most don’t….. for a lot of teams it’s a way to sell extra tickets thus increasing profits. They know their loyal fan base even if they are homophobic are not likely to stop watching
