Dude nailed my thoughts exact. Just got done watching Scary Movie 6 and it was terrible. Big let down since I was excited the Wayan Brothers got it back. Was really hoping it would’ve been as great as 1 and 2.
2 years ago, today
The Mavs eliminated the OKC Thunder in 6 games in exhilarating fashion.
The Thunder haven’t lost a single playoff series since this moment in Dallas.
lowkey one of the most slept on summer songs ever…
Shwayze “Buzzin” was Blogs + MTV rotation + MySpace…back when music really felt seasonal.
do you remember this one?
Looking at the past winners and it appears to me that Cooper Flagg is the first ever to win:
National HS Basketball Player of the Year (based on the Naismith and Gatorade Prep POY Awards given out since the mid 80s and Cooper won both of those),
NCAA Basketball Player of the Year,
And NBA Rookie of the Year!
Several won 2 of the 3 and I recognize some great players who might have won the NCAA award skipped college.
However a really awesome piece of history for Cooper!
@LDB216 I just can’t see a safety going top 5. Huge name now, but there’s going to be some edges, tackles, and of course the QB jumps that happen every year.
This draft class is stacked too. Not as great as 2027’s will be, but better than the last drafts talent.
@LDB216 Both of them did fall because of the position of safety. Come draft day it’s going to be very hard for you guys to pull a top 5 pick in a safety. Maybe the Jags pick?
"If I'm giving out a grade right now, the Dallas Cowboys have already won the draft."
@PSchrags was over the moon with the Cowboys' selection of Caleb Downs 🙌
💰 This guy says you should start taking Social Security at age 62.
He walks through the real math on claiming at 62 vs 67 vs 70 using a clear example: roughly $18k/year at 62, $24k at full retirement age (67), or $36k at 70. He shows the break-even points and reminds us that the average life expectancy here in the US is 79 years old.
It’s not just about getting the bigger monthly check — it depends on your health, how long you live, and your personal situation.
It’s such a practical reminder that these big decisions need to be run with your own numbers, not just generic advice. It’s also wise to run this past a financial adviser.
Would you claim Social Security early (at 62), at full retirement age, or wait until 70? What’s your reasoning?
When the time comes, I’ll be collecting it at 62.
