I’d say for a first go, this is quite strong. But over time there’ll be a need to broaden the audience for a standalone menswear collection, and I hope Simone Rocha can deliver that.

Apart from main brands, there’s a lot of exciting names to look for: I don’t know if I’ve seen anything from Egonlab in a minute, LGN always has a great cast, Juun.J has great silhouettes, and interested in what Willy will show, but I’ve grown a bit bored of the work lately.
I often look for suits that are quite plain but just slightly askew. This is a perfect example.
It’s a @celineofficial tuxedo worn by @Monsieurmirage at the 79th Cannes Film Festival. I love the weird little collar and the flipped lapel. Purposefully messy.
One thing I really enjoy about Jonathan Anderson’s double duty for Dior Men and Women is that the celebrities Dior dresses wear the newest of either collection, regardless of the “label”. More women in menswear please!! (And vice versa)
Debating if a Canadian tuxedo but with shorts is a necessity…..
Will say though, @HELMUTLANG feels like the only brand offering an interesting proposition for men right now.
