@OesterleMD It can be really hard to find a new provider when you’ve run out of medication and it’s crunch time. Especially scary when the ER tells you the only one doctor who can prescribe buprenorphine there isn't in and won’t prescribe to anyone outside their program so... good luck!

@OesterleMD One side effect is being dropped by a provider who prescribed buprenorphine for maintenance treatment- and now you’re left to face full blown withdrawal unless you find a new provider before you run out! Not a fun place to be, as the withdrawal is wicked.
