Canopii, a Hubbard, Ore. company, is creating automated greenhouses to vertically grow and harvest leafy greens and herbs.

So, just to reiterate, repeat and restate, highly pathogenic avian influenza has been detected in two pigs in Oregon. It has been confirmed through necropsy in one pig.
This is the first instance of the virus infecting pigs in the U.S. Experts expressed concern about the development as pigs are susceptible to viruses from both birds and humans, which could cause intermingling and mutations of the disease.

A quick clarification here. A necropsy has confirmed an infection in a full-sized pig. A nasal swab -- similar to how people test themselves for COVID -- resulted in a preliminary positive of a teacup pig. Necropsy results from the teacup pig are expected in early November.
