Like any grown up with a decent head on their shoulders I understand and acknowledge fast food while convenient is generally not a nutritionally good choice. However McDonald’s breakfast could be laced with arsenic and I’d knowingly still eat it.
Had the opportunity to be taught by Dr. Punnett my last semester of my senior year at KSU. He was a genius at what he did and knew how to get through to every single student. Thank you for the impact you had on me and so many others. Rest in peace.
In honor of a life well lived, we share with sadness and grief that our Chief Operator Dr. Ian Punnett passed away early this morning. After fighting an illness for the last few months Ian passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and son. Words cannot capture the essence of Ian’s accomplishments and leadership capabilities. He was a one of a kind professor, author and broadcaster that brought the best out in his students.
Most importantly, he was dedicated to not only training excellent broadcasters, but excellent people. In honor of his life that touched so many, if you have a memory of Ian that you would like to share, please do so below.
He is survived by his wife Margery and two sons.
This guy feels like he has been here for his whole career and it hasnt even been two years. Just knows what to say and when to say it. If he is good then I'm good. Go Cats!
@Stanimal032 Extremely overlooked former KSU quarterback.
- Single season KSU passing yards record.
- 5 passing TDs short of Howard’s record and he did it in half the years.
My God it’s John Currie and the receipt in the trash all over again. We got a gem of an AD in Gene Taylor and two head coaches that the entire community and fan base is behind in Klieman & Tang. Why why why why why must we fire a loaded gun at our own foot.
@BrianBookwalter Kleiman will never beat Leipold again.. ever. The clock has runout on Skylar and all the other talent that Snyder left him. KU has freshman literally all over the field. Daniels is a star... and they all love Leipold.
One time a teacher in highscool told me she spent over an hour trying to figure out where I plagarized a paper from only to come to the conclusion it was in fact my original writing. I still think about that to this day when I need a quick confidence boost.
First tweet since this became “X”!
That is if it is still indeed called a tweet? I guess it might be called an X now? Also does this mean the little bird is dead now? Confusing times we live in.
