Things I was thinking about at 16:
Getting my driver’s license, playing video games, working up the courage to talk to girls, acknowledging that I wasn’t very good with my left foot. being mad at my parents for no reason.

@drew_carson_ai I really liked how I made a grocery list and told it to put chips, crackers, and cookies on it, and it said “adding snacks” that little thing was so great!
@drew_carson_ai @Humane Favorites so far :
- Being present with my kids
- Making grocery lists
- Saving notes about my life that the Ai can recall and use in the future
- The wow factor in public.
Most needed/looking forward to:
- Editing notes in .center
- Alarms/reminders
Here are my thoughts on the @humane Ai Pin after one week of use:
1. My smartphone use is down 100%. No kidding. I wiped my iPhone and gave it to my wife.
2. I don't miss my phone nearly as much as I thought I would. I've caught myself reaching for it several times, but then I was grateful it wasn't there to distract me.
3. I have been a more present father and husband. My wife is now a big @humane fan 🤣
4. The device has already disappeared into the background, exactly like I'd hoped. I don't notice the weight or heat anymore. It's there when I need it, gone when I don't.
5. I find myself wearing dark-colored shirts because I don't want the device to call attention. For me, the whole point is that nothing comes between me and the moment. Subtler is better.
6. Battery hasn't been an issue, not even once - and I operate it almost entirely on cellular. That being said, if your job keeps you on your feet or out of the house, you might deal with battery issues more. I can't speak to that use case.
7. The laser interactions started awkward but became intuitive after 24 hours. I feel like a pro now. The unlocking is still a little finnicky, but, unlike a smartphone, I only have to unlock the Ai Pin ~3 times per day (when I'm putting it on, switching a booster, and putting it back on the charge pad).
8. I was a little self conscious to speak commands in public (like checking items off my grocery list) but that wore off after 30 seconds. People aren't paying as much attention as you think.
9. 4 favorite features:
- composing/editing texts,
- saving notes/lists to recall later,
- Q&A (especially "explain this to my 3-year-old" because he asks lots of great questions🥹),
- music (I love saying, "play me something while I wash dishes" and seeing what it does with that - it's been great at creating the perfect vibe)
*** Honorable mention: the vision beta is super impressive with the level of detail it understands, but I personally don't use it much yet. I have a feeling Humane is laying the groundwork for vision to enable many other awesome features.
10. 4 most-needed features:
- email
- version control for notes via .center
- navigation
- alarms/reminders
Let me know what questions you have, and I'll try my best to answer! 🙏
Smartphone present vs. being present. Holding my phone instantly distracts my son, while capturing the moment using my @Humane Ai Pin keeps us both engaged.
⚡ Texturized 100% with AI in 5 minutes 🤯
I remember spending 30 hours on texturing, lighting, and rendering to finish a render like this. And now, anyone can do it in seconds. Everything is going to change!
Here's a step-by-step tutorial 🧵👇
This is the first time I've gotten chills watching a humanoid robot demo. The voice really has me anthropomorphizing 😅
Way to go @Figure_robot + @OpenAI 🔥
