@AISafetyMemes What's your point? One of my jobs involves building tools to find "vulnerabilities" in the human genome. It can find them (known and unknown) in a few minutes. What will I do with them?
@FurkanGozukara@preshing@satyanadella Doesn’t sound like you’ve been a lead developer, project manager, or a solo dev.
Just because it does a good job doesn’t mean there won’t be humans in the loop. The roles will be higher-paid and more important. In fact, they already are with top AI coders earning $50 million/yr.
@Tim38419339@diazjulio0071@AnthropicAI It's a great model, but very expensive on the API. But Claude's rugpull approach and doomsday messaging was a complete disaster. Dario went on interviews saying that they basically released a super weapon to the public and frontier models need regulation. Terrible PR strategy.
@buildwithmaya@wholemars@happyChirperX The systems to do this are already in place, they would just have to hit a switch so that it asks to ID verify everyone who tries to send a message on Fable or Mythos. Of course, this would likely overwhelm the ID verifiers. Don't beg for what you don't want.
@wholemars They got what they asked for. If they wanted to make their own rules, they shouldn't have asked for regulation. There was no misunderstanding.
Also, would have helped if they didn't go on a publicity spree claiming they released a super weapon to the public.
@Tim38419339@diazjulio0071@AnthropicAI They were planning to rugpull in about a week so you'd be force to pay API fees. Why would you start a subscription today for Fable 5 given that this was the plan?
@diazjulio0071@AnthropicAI You fell for their scam. They were planning to do a rugpull and force everyone pay API credits after 2 weeks of releasing the model. They just didn't expect the government to regulate so quickly, even though it's supposedly what they wanted.
@AnthropicAI You got what you wanted, now stop whining. You can already do ID verification. Don't ask for government regulation if you want to make the rules.
