#TIFF24 Day #6
- Started the day off with “Emilia Parez” where Kaitlin met Karla Sofía Gascón after the screening!

- Ended the day with the horrifically meditative and visually stunning “April”
After the Bird screening I chatted with the one and only @DeschanelBroey and they convinced me it’s Arnold’s most symbolic work. Also asked for a selfie lol
#TIFF24 Day #3
- Woke up early to stand in the P&I line for “Anora” and thought it was incredible
- Ran to catch “Hard Truths” where I cried and cried

#TIFF24 Day #2
- Started the day with the strikingly hilarious “Rumours”
- Was able to get into a screening of “The Substance” and wow. Completely engrossing and explosive with its vision
- Ended the day with “The Last Showgirl” where @pamelaanderson gives a career performance
@sapphicspielbrg sat a seat down from me during Caught by the Tides and after the film was kind enough to talk about the film and Zhangke’s work with me. I even got to tell them that We're All Going to the World's Fair was one of the first films I programmed for @RemaiModern!
First day of #TIFF24 was great
- My first screening was “All We Imagine as Light” and it was so beautiful and strikingly optimistic
- Was stoked to get a last minute ticket to “Caught by the Tides”, it pulled me and weaved me through to all sorts of places. Loved it!
#TIFF23 Day 8
- One of the best weeks of my life!
- So grateful to have been accredited as P&I and attend the fest for @RemaiModern
- My last day included 2 of my favourite films of the fest, Fallen Leaves and Evil Does Not Exist. Both will be staying with me for a long while!
#TIFF23 Day 7
- Only 1 screening for me today, but it’s easily one of my most anticipated
- Was fortunate to see Hayao Miyazaki’s final? film, The Boy and the Heron
- It covers so much, and I wasn’t sure if it would stick the landing, but it all comes together and soars so high
#TIFF23 Day 6
- Caught Naga early in the morning and loved it!
- Peeped the Mr. Dress-Up doc and cried
- Finally got to see Boil Alert, fantastic doc, can’t wait for more people to see it.
- Ended the day with Fingernails, enjoyed it but was a little disappointed overall sadly
#TIFF23 Day 5
- Started the day with A Normal Family at the lightbox, was good!
- Followed that up with the great doc Summer Qamp
- Closed out the day with the film adaptation of Robot Dreams, loved it and can’t wait to hopefully play it in Saskatoon!
