Well that’s a wrap! 19/20 school year has now come to an end. Certainly not the year we had in mind but we finished strong after 13 weeks virtual learning. So proud of our boys for their efforts this year. Looking forward to a well earned rest.#sfs1912
A very successful first day back @sfs1912!!! It has been so great to have them all back after 13 weeks. The children were all stars at keeping their masks on, washing their hands and social distancing (hula hoops are a great visual for keeping distance😊). #Social_Distancing
I have thoroughly enjoyed creating my Bitmoji classes. So grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of a wonderful #seesaw group that I have learnt so much from. My PreK students have enjoyed exploring their virtual environment everyday @SFS1912#virtuallearning#COVID19

Open letter to parents – As a Teacher during #COVID19 times….
(After spending a day reading extremely hurtful comments from parents in a WeChat group maybe they are unaware staff are in....I had to write this) ....I was gutted by the harshness....

Survived 4 weeks of empty classrooms, #virtuallearning and 2 days of Virtual Parent Conferences. Looking forward to some screen free time and getting outside over the next week. @SFS1912
EY @SFS1912 continues to provide our students with great learning opportunities through a unique and rewarding Virtual Learning platform. Whilst it is not the same and we miss our students terribly, it’s a pleasure to work with such a dedicated and passionate group of people.
Starting Virtual Learning Week 2 helping early years teachers communicate virtually, through @googleforedu Hangout Chat or Meet. #sfs1912#virtuallearning
Four weeks into distance learning from my parent perspective: leave more time and mental space for students to explore their own learning interests. They have things they want to learn, don’t fill up every minute of their time with content someone else chose for them.
[Making of the Pre-K Digital Learning Video] With the help of educational sessions from our DLC team, our teachers have learned to use the technology and skills to create easy, fun and engaging Virtual Learning materials both for teachers and students! #sfs1912#virtuallearning
Even our youngest SFS students are provided with daily fun and engaging activities through our virtual learning platform. Enjoy this video initially created by our fantastic Pre-K teachers, Julia Church, Marta Kocyk and Kylie Munce for our Pre-K students. #digitallearning
Exploring light and shadows in PreK3. I’m looking forward to seeing this scene develop further. There has been many conversations about the different shadows. @SFS1912
