There are over 1,000 NPCs in 'Fable' and they are all voiced by real actors 🎮
• ~100 actors were cast to voice the game's 'living population'
• No Gen AI was involved

If you’re a weird girl most people will like you DESPITE and not BECAUSE of your personality. (And I’m talking about genuinely weird mind, not just someone under socialized who cannot dress themself). But you have to have faith that your people are out there. There are so many undercover kooky people, trust!
A lot of you think your misery and bitterness is sophisticated. You view happiness as being child-like and vapid. And that's a shame. But some of you would rather leave the world as having been perceived as deep than as having had a happy life.
Y'all aren't progressive. Y'all are just mean and angry. But because you don't want to confront these feelings and handle the real forces that upset you, y'all get unjustifiably upset at innocent online strangers. Other people have become your outlet. A way to let off emotional
I don’t want data centres. I want better roads, equipped hospitals, safety social nets for the unemployed, old and disabled, and developed public schools.
there are few things i truly loathe quite like people who take their security and comfort for granted to such an extent that they’ll see a homeless person having a mental episode and utterly hitting rock bottom and think of themselves as the victim for having merely witnessed it.

A Gen Z joined the team.
Week one.
During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”
Gen Z nodded.
Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”
The room went quiet.
- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.
Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”
Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”
Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.
That’s when the team realized something.
When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:
Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out
only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”
So Gen Z chose differently.
- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.
They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.
It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.
And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…
Can you really blame them?
so cool how basically every study concludes that torture doesn’t work because people will just say whatever they think will get it to stop, not the actual truth, but apparently most people temporarily lose their ability to understand language when that’s brought up
People who are too jaded to look out the airplane window are almost as depressing as the city dwellers who never stare up at the architecture around them (because only gauche tourists do that). Life is too short to be bored, retvrn to awe and wonder
it probably feels so cool to be non-profit exec in your 50s living in a craftsman style home in takoma park, md. just driving your subuaru to the co-op.
don’t want ppl to notice im not doing well but also want ppl to notice im not doing so well but also don’t want anyone to be burdened by me but also want to feel that ppl care about me but also don’t want to be perceived but also want to feel like i matter
