@dvump25@SenWarren $215 billion would be his incentive.
Are you suggesting that Bezos would only have built Amazon if he got $222 billion, but would say, "screw-it" and take a regular job instead if he was only able to make $215 billion?
I bet he would have built it for only $1 billion.
Is @umichbball the worst team to ever a title? Probably close. It doesn't though matter because they are the champs, but the 1996 @KentuckyMBB would beat them by 40.
@nextlevelbb This feels a lot like my teachers, who insisted I learn the Dewey decimal system, because the Internet was just a "fad" and using it to research a topic was "cheating".
@shegone03 I hear you, but I don't think celebrating is disrespectful. Every sport celebrates, baseball takes it more personally. Ever seen a walk-on in college basketball hit a 3 in the final minutes of a blowout? Pandemonium, and not disrespectful.
@Truth24673584@mathillustrated As adults, homeschooled kids thrive in the same arenas as kids that come from broken homes, troubled pasts and unstable environments. They excel in low-information professions because they were raised without people in their life that know how to teach.
@Truth24673584@mathillustrated HS'd kids do great in fields where participants can be "self-taught". Painter, plumber, farmer, programmer, data science & IT are professions with lots of HS kids. However, you do not see HS'd kids becoming surgeons, physicists, economists, etc.
@shegone03@MLB@Rangers You started the '97 season with the Red Sox 0-36 and finally hit a single.
Imagine if that
single that broke open your season was a homerun? Wouldn't you be at least this hyped? Your work paid off.
Also, props for hitting .310 with an 0-36 start. That's impressive AF.
@BluebookBeede My son played in a 11U tournament this past weekend in Louisville, KY. A kid threw 2 2/3 on Saturday with 52 pitches. He comes back and throws 96 pitches in the finals on Sunday! Glad his Daddy finally feels like he won a ring, but this is child abuse.
