“We are called to be citizens of heaven before we’re citizens of America or any other nation. As such, our perspective on the culture around us should be filtered through the lens of God’s word rather than partisan politics.” —Dr. Ryan Denison https://t.co/vsjRATU2uK
The decision is very fresh, but here are some initial thoughts:
“If we call ourselves pro-life, we must work to build a stronger culture of life.”

@Bezner I’m late to this conversation. There’s a lot here about the BF&M. But it seems like what is at the heart of it is (again) the SBC view of women as pastors. I personally don’t need a convention to affirm me. I do the work of a pastor whether I carry the title or not.
John Baillie prayed: “Give me a strong heart to bear my own burdens. Give me a willing heart to bear the burdens of others. Give me a believing heart to cast all my burdens on you.” "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" (1 Pt 5:7). What is your burden?
@HeatherTDay Love all 9 Star Wars movies (minus scenes with Jar Jar). Kilo Ren’s, “I know what I need to do but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it” just gets me every time.
