I get it. I understand the anger because the content was harmful. The apology might not be convincing. He might be sorry because he got caught or because someone called him out.
But anger and hate are different things. People are shifting from holding him accountable and making him face the consequences to wishing him death and spreading hate.
He needs attention, help, and guidance. He was exposed to such content. Honestly, it could also be partly a failure of parental supervision. A 12-year-old's social media activity should be supervised.
If a 12-year-old is never called out, they may not change even when they are 25 years old. So, calling him out and losing his job are consequences he needs to bear, but that doesn't mean he cannot truly reflect.
His dream was shattered because of his own mistakes. That is harsh for him. He needs a little positivity and to know that while the world can criticize him when he is wrong, second chances need to be earned through change.
He needs to prove it through his actions.
Hi Justin,
Remember, people will say you only apologized because you got caught. I can't judge your intentions, but I'm glad you realized how disturbing those reposts were and that they can never be justified.
After reading your comment section as an adult, I wanted to share a little advice. There will always be people who hate you. No matter how much you change, how much you grow, or how much therapy you seek, some people will never be happy with you. I hope that kind of hate never takes you down the wrong path.
There is always a difference between holding someone accountable and trying to destroy someone's career. Some people will even find fault in the way you breathe.
Please be mindful of what you interact with and what you share. The content you were associated with was truly dark and disturbing. Since you are still so young, I sincerely hope you learn from this and grow into a better person. Don't let these mistakes define your future. If your remorse is genuine, keep moving forward with a positive mindset and let your actions speak for themselves.
Stay strong, reflect, and keep growing. Wishing you peace.
Take care Justin.
Hello everyone,
Regarding my past social media reposts, I want to begin by saying that I am truly sorry. I accept all criticism and sincerely apologize for everything that has happened.
First, regarding the image of the gun that I reposted, I admit that it was thoughtless and an immature joke. Looking back, I recognize how foolish and irresponsible it was. This has been an important lesson for me, and I promise that nothing like this will ever happen again. I want to emphasize that I do not support violence in any form.
I also want to emphasize that I respect people of all genders and sexual orientations, and I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and equality. Many of the people around me, including friends and colleagues from the LGBTQ+ community, have shown me kindness, support, and guidance, for which I am truly grateful. I sincerely apologize for the things I reposted in the past and for the hurt and disappointment they may have caused.
Although I made those reposts when I lacked the maturity to fully understand the impact of my actions, being young is absolutely not an excuse. I take full responsibility for what I did.
I am genuinely sorry for my past actions. Every criticism I have received has been a valuable lesson, and I will use it to grow into a more thoughtful, respectful, and responsible person.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apologize and explain myself.
Hello everyone,
My life changed from the happiest time to the saddest time in just a few days, and I know it was because of my own actions.
I understand and respect that many people may not be able to accept my apology or forgive me for the reposts I made on social media in the past.
From now on, I want to take time to reflect on myself and learn from my mistakes. I take full responsibility for what I did. I now understand that the things I reposted in the past were inappropriate. I’m truly sorry.
At the time, I honestly reposted them without thinking. I didn’t pay attention to what they really meant, and that was my mistake. But I want everyone to know from the bottom of my heart these are not my true beliefs or opinions.
Now I understand that everything I do on social media can affect the things I care about and my future. I’ve already experienced those consequences, and I’ll be much more careful from now on.
I’m not writing this to ask for a second chance or to expect everyone to forgive me right away.
I just wanted to speak honestly from my heart and explain my side, so that the people who still support me, as well as those who felt hurt or angry because of this, can better understand how I feel.
I’m truly sorry to everyone who was affected by this, and thank you for taking the time to listen to me.
Justin
