Air Fryer Breakfast Roll Ups
Ingredients:
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 8 cooked breakfast sausage links (maple flavored recommended)
- 4 slices Colby Jack cheese, cut in half
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions:
1. Prep the Eggs: Crack the eggs into a bowl and add milk, kosher salt, and pepper. Beat well with a fork until combined.
2. Scramble the Eggs: Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add the beaten eggs and scramble gently for 3-4 minutes until just set but still creamy. Set aside to cool slightly.
3. Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 individual triangles and lay them flat on your work surface.
4. Assemble the Roll Ups: Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs on each triangle, add one cooked sausage link, and top with half a slice of cheese. Roll each triangle up, starting from the wide end.
5. Air Fry the Roll Ups: Place the rolled-up crescents seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 370Β°F for 7-9 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
6. Make the Maple Glaze: While the roll ups cook, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and mix with maple syrup to create a sweet glaze.
7. Glaze and Finish: During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, brush the maple butter glaze over the roll ups for a golden, sweet finish.
8. Serve Hot: Remove from air fryer and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving. These are best enjoyed warm while the cheese is still melty.
Breakfast Sliders Easy
Ingredients:
- 8 slices bacon, diced
- Β½ lb breakfast sausage
- 8 large eggs
- ΒΌ cup heavy cream or milk
- 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
- 6-8 slices American cheese
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- Β½ tsp salt
- Β½ tbsp maple syrup
- Everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
1. Get Ready: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F. These breakfast sliders are going to be a hit with everyone!
2. Cook the Bacon: Heat a large 12-inch skillet over medium heat and add the diced bacon. Cook until it's nice and crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off the excess grease.
3. Brown the Sausage: In the same skillet with the bacon fat, add the breakfast sausage and cook, breaking it up as you go, until it's completely browned and cooked through. Transfer to the plate with the bacon.
4. Scramble the Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and cream until well combined. Heat the skillet again over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour in the eggs and gently scramble with a spatula until they're just set and fluffy. Season with salt and remove from heat.
5. Prep the Rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet or large baking dish.
6. Build the Sliders: Start layering your breakfast goodness! Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom buns, then top with the cooked sausage and crispy bacon. Place the cheese slices over the meat, then crown with the top halves of the rolls.
7. Make the Topping: In a small bowl, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir in the maple syrup until combined. This sweet and savory combo is what makes these sliders special!
8. Finish and Bake: Brush the maple butter mixture over the tops of the sliders, then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning if using. Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden. If they start browning too quickly, just cover with foil.
