Any great KDP book cover carries 3 messages to grab readers' attention:

Master it = more sales. Ignore it = invisible book syndrome 👻
Which one YOU struggle with most? 👇
@WrongsToWrite Twitter/X is probably the place where I first learned the importance of cutting out the fluff of your words. Never make things more complicated than it has to be.
Writing tip:
Avoid many words when you can use one.
• A lot of → Many
• In order to → To
• Hard to do → Difficult
• For the purpose of → To
• On a weekly basis → Weekly
• Unknown people → Strangers
Simple and effective.

The one thought I had the entire time was that the only person who could get me out of this is myself
Don't ever give up on yourself
These things take time
Work when it's time to work and rest when it's time to rest.
Work is a narrow state of mind while rest is an open state. If your life is dominated by work, you miss out on the ideas and creativity that lead to higher-paying meaningful work. This is why most people are stuck.
You are what you do every day.
You do what pops up in your head every day.
Build the right habits to become what you want to be.
Once those habits take hold, you'll no longer have to remind yourself of doing them - then you can become what you want.
Sales not about trying to sell.
Sales is about solving.
And to solve, you need to qualify.
You actually need to see if what you're offering can help first.
If it can, then you pitch.
Open with qualification first.
