Missed the way better shot, but got a second-best. Although the bullet was small, I was able to hit with a much bigger one on the 3rd shot and kept sizing onward. Although I could have kept shooting earlier than I did, it was still a good series of shots overall.
The amount of people who seem to lack any genuine intellectual curiosity never ceases to amaze me.
You can meet someone who’s 35 or 45 or even 55 and realise that, outside of their immediate social circle and narrow area of professional expertise, they know almost nothing about the world.
No interest in history, health, philosophy, science, art, economics, politics, psychology, literature, or how any of the systems that govern their lives actually work.
And I don’t mean not being an expert, merely not having the instinct to ask: “why is this the way it is?”
CT has some great takes that can genuinely move you forward, but most of it is noise that clutters your mind and makes you dumber. Some even inflate numbers just to have something to post.
