The latest we knew was Bray Wyatt was getting close to being cleared to return to WWE after battling a life-threatening illness.
Today he has suddenly passed away at the age of 36.
Heartbroken.
RIP Bray Wyatt.
Korea, on July 23rd, will likely be my final grind.
The last time I ever fully commit everything for a goal.
I grew up hating how I looked, and hating how it made others view me,
Told myself I’d grind until I got to the point where I felt accepted.
1-2 hours in the gym every day for 5 years
8-12 hours of streaming every day for 3 years
Only to sit here after a full day of meeting fans,
Taking pictures with people who tell me how much I brighten their days,
And meeting people who I would’ve never dreamed of being in the same league as a year ago,
And feel empty.
What have I told myself all these years?
Told myself I needed to have a more shredded physique.
Told myself I needed to have a higher rank,
Told myself I needed to be a more entertaining streamer,
Told myself I’d never be enough.
Endless progress is only a good thing from an outside point of view.
To want to endlessly progress is to say that one always has room to improve,
But sometimes it’s better for one to be comfortable with where one is.
The Grind is a numbing agent.
A true grinder becomes the grind.
They feel no emotions, no urges, only the desire to fulfill their objective.
But what happens when there is no grind?
You’re laying down in your bed ant 1:30 AM, alone, listening to sad songs, wishing that you had someone that you could share all your accomplishments with.
But see, the thing is you aren’t alone.
You never are.
Because whenever you look to your left, and see no one there,
You’re left with the thought that there would be, if only you were better.
But in order to become better you must further sacrifice the potential for a genuine connection, and commit more time for your goals.
A never ending cycle.
This cycle needs to end, but it can’t end yet.
Not before I’ve reached my true potential.
In 2 weeks, I’ll give you all my everything.
I’ll give you the most entertaining streamer.
I’ll give you the best Hecarim you’ve ever fucking seen,
I’ll give you IRL streams,
I’ll give you my all.
But after that, I’ll have to find my happiness.
I don’t know how long it’ll take.
Or in what form it’ll take place.
But I do know that I’m only confessing my feelings on Twitter because I don’t have anyone I trust as much as my community.
And it’s because of that trust that I need to do this one last time.
For the accomplishments that are yet to come,
For years of trust that must be repaid,
And for a community that I’ve built that supported me through everything,
I’ll give you Korea.
July 23.
