@RicardoBSalinas Totalmente de acuerdo. Pero la verdadera solución libertaria es que el Estado reparta lo menos posible. Menos poder = menos robo. No más tribunales, menos gobierno.
BREAKING:
🇮🇷🇴🇲🇺🇸 Two Iranian drones have struck the commercial port in Duqm, Oman.
The U.S. signed a military access agreement with Oman to use Duqm as a strategic logistics hub, it's one of America's newest and most important staging points in the region, sitting directly on the Arabian Sea outside the Strait of Hormuz.

@Being2faiz@stats_feed hina does lead in total CO2 emissions (26.16% in 2022), but that’s largely due to its massive population and role as a global manufacturing hub. On a per capita basis, it’s at ~7.5 tonnes per person—above the global average but far less than the U.S. (14.1 tonnes) or Australia.

"The Real Shock Isn’t the Tariffs…"
We all knew it, running $2+ trillion deficits every year was a slow-motion collapse. Anyone paying attention saw where this was headed. The only unknown was how painful the correction would be, and most assumed a depression (after hyperinflation) was the only real way out.
So no, the real shock isn’t the tariffs.
The shock is that someone is actually trying to confront the problem.
Now, I have no idea if this will work.
But it looks like the goal is this:
Stop letting foreign nations use the U.S. market as their dumping ground while taxing our goods on the way in
Bring jobs and production back home, especially in critical industries
Force other countries to lower their own tariffs or face pressure
Rebuild the real economy here in the U.S., so we’re not just propped up by debt, speculation, and consumer credit
In short, they’re trying to rebuild the foundation of the supply side of the economy before the next inevitable round of money printing.
Because yes, they will print again. They have to.
The current structure can’t function without it.
But now the goal seems to be:
Clean up the books a little
Cut the waste
Get rates down
Free up lending
Then… print from a position of more strength and less desperation.
I don’t know if this will work.
I don’t know if it’s too late.
But at least it’s aimed at something real, for once.
Most would rather die trying than just letting death happen, and we were undoubtedly headed towards death.
That’s the shock.
Not the pain, not the tariffs…
But that someone is finally acknowledging that this thing is broken and trying to do more than kick the can one more time.
