.@horwitzben says his anti-Grammarly tool, Sinceerly, is satire and not a business.
"[Sinceerly] started as social commentary. It's satire and playful, and I didn't want to pay for everyone's tokens. But I love making products that make people think twice about technology. And in this case, it's also a little bit of pushback on how we're using technology today."

everything great comes from being able to delay gratification for as long as possible
and it feels like we're collectively losing our ability to do that
There has been a lot of discussion about Matcha Meta around the SwapNet incident. Most of the conversation is rooted in incomplete/incorrect data, and a misunderstanding of how Matcha Meta works and why it remains highly secure
My focus is on helping affected users recover. But taking moment away from that to explain what happened 👇
Hey there. Thanks for sharing.
We'd like to clarify: Matcha Meta and 0x contracts remain safe and were not exploited.
The issue occurred on the SwapNet contract level. Affected users disabled our default One-time approvals, granting SwapNet direct approvals.
And the total amount is $13.3M and not $16.8M.
We've written a post mortem here: https://t.co/9qGnr1xhqe
This is probably the best way to bridge size to and from Solana (1:1 USDC, can bridge millions without a cent of slippage)
Top off with a little gas via one of the other bridges and you're cooking
Our users have been telling us relentlessly that they wanted cross chain support in Matcha Meta
Some said CCTP, others wanted Relay, yet more wanted LayerZero OFTs
We wanted it to be fast and preserve the one time approval our users have come to expect
So we reimagined bridge aggregation from the ground up. It’s fast, faster than any bridge aggregator on the market. It shows all routes, like the Google Flights of bridging. The smart contracts inherit 0x’s security first architecture so users can feel safe with their approvals. We hope you find it delightful.
Happy bridging!
Highlights
- Turn on protocol fees which will get used to burn UNI
- Align Labs with the protocol (DUNI) interests (no more separate frontend, wallet, API fees where the value only accrued to the Labs)
- Burn 100m UNI from the treasury

Simulation is an extremely important part of the puzzle because short of creating a time travel machine so you can counterfactually choose the other options, you can never know what the executed results would have been
The best you can do at the decision time is to use all APIs and simulate them all
That's what we have done on @matchametaxyz since March of this year. We'll be coming to Solana soon too (LiteSVM gud).
Please no more Uniswap screenshots, they're not a good representative for crypto
Oh, and btw, that time machine I talked about? Yeah, we're creating that too
