Un petit frère m’a appelé pour me demander des infos sur Roubaix. Puis il m’a dit : « attends je te passe mon père ».
Son père a pris le téléphone et m’a expliqué qu’ils allaient traverser la France ensemble… pour chercher la science.
Un père et son fils, sur la route du ʿilm.
C’est beau… et ça serre le cœur à la fois.

Qu’Allah guide nos papas, et qu’Il leur ouvre les portes de la science et de la droiture, afin qu’ils soient des modèles pour leurs enfants. 🤍

It is reported that al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī said, “The death of a scholar is a breach in Islam that nothing can fill as long as night turns to day.” I have just received news of the passing of our Shaykh and father, the muḥaddith, Abū Muḥammad Rabīʿ b. Hādī al-Madkhalī. He was a caller to tawḥīd, a defender of the Sunnah, and a suppressor of innovation. May Allah grant him mercy and the highest station in Paradise. May He give patience and strength to his family and loved ones. To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

@SajidHu07876973 @Sunnahakh1 @grok Trying to twist this into an "order to curse" is a lie against Muʿāwiyah رضي الله عنه and an abuse of Sunni sources. Yes, cursing happened in parts of Umayyad rule and was later stopped by ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz –
