@courtjester1998 @TrickyMickMinin@Chair_Ichiban as someone that’s owned 3 hondas (integra, eg hatch, and currently an ef hatch) that’s a fart can. put a vibrant muffler and it’ll sound great. had that setup in my integra with uel headers and always got compliments for how good it sounded even after i took off the uel header.
@hlovo_ probably the rarest car i have a picture of in the wild. 1 of 270 autech s14 and 1 of 60 in this color (the rest were white). wish i had a picture but saw a red lfa cruising with a 40th anniversary murci a few months ago
@SpartacusGoy@DannJolly@FortySacks@memeticsisyphus insurance is around $90 a month combined for both cars and gas on the daily (integra) is around $20 every 2-3 weeks (maybe less depending on how hard i drive it). yea it’s more expensive than a bike but it’s worth it for how fun they are to drive
@SpartacusGoy@DannJolly@FortySacks@memeticsisyphus i bought a turbo’d 93 civic that was sitting for 4 years for $900 and spent $250 on the fuel pump and starter to get it running again. i also bought my 99 integra a year ago for 2.5k and all i’ve done is normal maintenance and it hasn’t given me any problems. (i am a zoomer btw)
@atbashed it’s not fast but hearing that b series scream brings a smile to my face every time.
the civic also isn’t that fast but it’s really fun with how light it is.
@BallsofSousVide@cctvidiots they never stopped. 90s hondas still get stolen all the time just like back then. one of my friends had his 91 hatch stolen a few weeks ago and luckily it got recovered
@hennessypapix @Mudkip_No_3 @SenorPorko@Bladed__Angel the soarer (the one in the picture) had a single and twin turbo option but those came with the 1jz and not the 2jz
@DrunkBengalsfan@InternetH0F shifting the weight like that and neutral steering to slide a bit through the corners is exactly how you drive these types of karts fast. and if you didn’t know, that’s carlos sainz driving :)
@MatthewAbelArts @freakyfreenzy @interesting_aIl most people refer to this as “slip angle” (even though slip angle is something completely different) or neutral steering.
@MatthewAbelArts @freakyfreenzy @interesting_aIl the drifting that you’re seeing in the video is how you drive fast. the driver is shifting the weight to rotate the kart and is using a small amount of steering angle and throttle control to keep speed through the corners. this is used in basically every type of racing (even f1)
