We’re at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville tonight, which we’ve been told is the most historic and legendary country music venue in the world. There are many different artists here who each perform a couple of songs. It feels like the ultimate country music experience.
It really is this easy.
They only insist on using our drinking water bc it's cheaper for them.
This is where capitalism fails: when what's best for society, the environment, and our communities is not as profitable as the wrong thing.

Complaints about the lack of Greeks in The Odyssey superficially seem legitimate but I don’t think they hold water. Seems like insisting Shakespeare only be staged by the English. When you become the bedrock of world narrative, you kinda forfeit cultural specificity. Fair trade!
This is what a climate in crisis looks like. 1000 year rain events happening 2 and 3 times in a decade. Heat waves and hail storms that destroy livestock and crops. And the worse drought in North America for the past 1,200 years, while deserts flood. But happening all at once.

“I think my favorite moment was just that they created a place that they could have the normalcy that they deserve,” he recounted. “And it just happened to be at Madison Square Garden with security making sure everybody was safe and good and they could just have a night for themselves.”

@FreddyLA7@katiemae0122 Taco Bell is actually fine, they pulled any potentially contaminated ingredients to protect customers but not bc they were specifically contaminated or anything. If anything Taco Bell is safer than everywhere else still selling fresh produce.
