My friend’s roommate is abusing her dog! I am a dog lover, and I have done some research about canine cognition. So I really want to help the dog. My friend’s roommate never walked her dog. Never! She also forgot feeding her dog for so many times. What should I do???

Many countries have already banned the dog meat trade, and I believe with the help from charities, countries, where dog meat is still available, should execute similar policies. In the US, President Donald Trump signed the “Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act of 2018”

With the support of organizations like HSI, HSUS, ending the dog meat trade altogether is a real ultimate goal. Ending the dog meat trade “is a difficult campaign, one that requires the socio-legal status of dogs to be refined, but it is achievable” #39canimals

Taiwan and Hong Kong have already introduced laws prohibiting the slaughter of any dog or cat for human consumption. Thailand passed the Prevention of Animal Cruelty and Provision of Animal Welfare Act, that banned the trade or consumption of dog meat. #39canimals

Dogs are largely consumed during the Boknal festival, the hottest summer days, as dog meat consumers believe eating dog meat can help them keep cool (��The Dog Meat Trade”). Dogs in meat farms are mostly mixed-breed dog and abandoned dogs. #39canimals
