My friend’s roommate is abusing her dog! I am a dog lover, and I have done some research about canine cognition. So I really want to help the dog. My friend’s roommate never walked her dog. Never! She also forgot feeding her dog for so many times. What should I do???
The law “prohibits the slaughter of dogs and cats for human consumption, and for other purposes”. “No person may ship, transport, move, deliver, receive, possess, purchase, sell, or donate” dog or cat, or dog or cat part, for human consumption”. #39canimals
Many countries have already banned the dog meat trade, and I believe with the help from charities, countries, where dog meat is still available, should execute similar policies. In the US, President Donald Trump signed the “Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act of 2018”
With the support of organizations like HSI, HSUS, ending the dog meat trade altogether is a real ultimate goal. Ending the dog meat trade “is a difficult campaign, one that requires the socio-legal status of dogs to be refined, but it is achievable” #39canimals

#WhatIlearnedin39C I learned the importance of giving advice in peer review! I agree that "to give is better than to receive". When I give advice, I need to be clear about the minimum requirement priorly. I learned how to read my own article in a reader's perspective.
#WhatIlearnedin39C Through the Connect assignments, I learned how to effectively read research articles steps by steps. 1. search the author 2. read abstract 3. read intro and conclusion 4. read results 5. read method
#WhatIlearnedin39C I learned how to do annotations! We annotated TIME articles, documentary films, TED talks throughout this quarter. I realized that annotate key words and scientists could be helpful to my future works.
#WhatIlearnedin39C I learned how to creat a website! I learned that a web page should include multimodality. Images and white spaces make webpages more readable!

Creating protected areas such as national parks is one solution to preserve wildlife. These areas are government-managed and use park rangers to enforce rules and protect against illegal activities such as hunting, mining, and the cutting down of trees.

By helping to make your local pet store puppy-friendly, you can make it difficult for puppy mills to sell their puppies to the public. Ideally, with less customers, puppy mills will slowly go out of business because they are losing money.
