@CoopLori I don't understand what you mean by that. I know only certain names have been used in rallying but it's not to discredit other deaths, just to promote the underlying problems that the movement is made to bring to everyone's attention
@cieplinski I know people have developed a distaste for it academically but Wikipedia has a lot of good base information regarding the effects of global dimming

@SobAlert@CoopLori But with the use of fossil fuels, we also decrease global dimming, which winds up speeding up the global warming process we already started.

@4maga2020@theangiestanton I appreciate your ability to separate our paths, and I'll work to keep the same mindset myself. Thank you for the discourse and I will be certain to keep my eyes more open to the little things going on around me.

@CoopLori#AllLivesMatters was created in response to #BLM which is meant to bring attention to the systemic racism that is present in American society. In saying ALM you ignore the problem that BLM was meant to bring attention to and steal focus away from what needs to be changed
@4maga2020@theangiestanton One of the benefits of society today is having experts in their respective subjects so that I don't have to do my own research. Knowing things is definitely a good thing and I fully support doing your own research but don't dismiss trained professionals either.

@4maga2020@theangiestanton The increase is in diagnosis, which makes sense because of our increased ability to properly diagnose health conditions. The research has shown that there is no connection between vaccines and autism #dskgeod#vaccines

@4maga2020@theangiestanton All of those additives have a documented purpose for being in the vaccines, as per the link you included. If you have an issue with any of those you can research each vaccine before use and search for versions of the vaccine without those ingredients.

@ChrisMcArthur97 Where exactly is the moral gray area behind cloning? I know that this article has some qualms with the usage of the clones but cloning itself shouldn't be something that we take as inherently bad. #dskgeod#cloning

@4maga2020@theangiestanton Do you understand what vaccines actually are? They are weekend versions of diseases that our body fights off so that it is better prepared to face the disease at full strength.

@emily_rowlison Then the system will be undone by any inclusive transgender rules. Otherwise, some non-transgendered individuals could be pressured into saying that they're someone they're not due to the weight that schools put into sports.
@emily_rowlison I think that as societal norms of gender become more fluid the separation of college-level sports should be reviewed. I don't know how they would go about adjusting things but if the separation were due to the biological strength and endurance differences between men and women...
@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire There are prejudices placed in front of almost every group, but that isn't something that they should always have to deal with. It's something that should be removed from the society
@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire It just proves that that one demographic has overcome the obstacle that was in their way. There are still obstacles in place for many other groups of people, including transgendered people #dskgeo
@ShelbyCard5 Everyone should be protected from discrimination. Our laws are set in place so that when citizens walk out of their homes they feel safe to go about their business without fear of losing their life, their freedom, or their property.

@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire According to this article, Asian Americans were able to overcome the racial prejudices against them and be awarded the same opportunities that had previously only been granted to white people. Their success isn't tied to inhibiting another group #dskgeo

@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire Not necessarily rights but in our society white men earn more than almost every other group of people. Making higher education easier to get to for people not in that group helps to move us towards a more equal society, at least in one respect

@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire In a society where people are treated the same regardless of race or gender, there wouldn't be a need for benefits specified to those specific people. As society is now, white males have an inherent privilege. If that were gone benefits could go towards other groups in need.
@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire Seeing as these identifications have led to historically bad things, removing any divide between skin colors so that it doesn't matter what color skin you have nor identify as would benefit society, since genetically we show no difference. #dskgeo

@ccsims98 @RatzlaffClaire How does gender compare to height or age? Height is a distance measurement and age is a measure of time. Gender identity is something inside of people that potentially disagrees with how they were labeled at birth.
