The hatred that fiyero receives makes absolutely no sense compared to the favoritism that many have for glinda (if you take into account what Wicked actually says and not the ship) both are transformed by elphaba, both are aware of what she stands for and believes in, and only one of them uses their status, power, and influence to do something to help her once she is declared an enemy. Only one of them understands how wrong this role they play is. Only one of them performs consciously while the other goes the opposite way

And the worst part is that many here consider her final arc a justification for all the terrible decisions and choices she makes, as if everything glinda did was conscious, the right choice but it wasn't. She didn't care and simply bowed to submission to feed her ambitions and I'll say more, her entire final arc is the least she could do after spending so many years oblivious to everything and everyone, she always chooses the easiest path, the path that benefits her, and when she realizes it and her bubble bursts, it's too late to repair the harm she's done to the life of the one she claims to love most

the love she feels for elphaba, how funny and charismatic she is, blinds many here
