@DOCD3TOX Okay that makes more sense that you want it to stay but be changed some, it seemed like you wanted it to stay the way it is. I understand what you’re saying. I just don’t think 1000 people in a one mile radius should have less of a voice than 500 people in a 60 mile radius.
@DOCD3TOX It’s just a super out-dated system that doesn’t make sense the way it works now. It makes millions of peoples votes not matter, and everything comes down to the few swing states. It would be better for everyone if every vote counted, regardless of party.
@DOCD3TOX Well first off, I guarantee you more people would vote if they felt their vote actually mattered. The people that feel under-represented would feel heard and small towns in states like Washington, Oregon and California would have a voice. So I just don’t get why you are arguing
@DOCD3TOX But if the electoral college stays the same, you are going to continue to get outvoted everytime, and your vote will never “truly count”. So why would you not want a popular vote in which every single persons vote mattered.
@DOCD3TOX I mean nobody is forcing you to live in a small town. So the fact that you should get more weight to your vote because of where you live makes no sense. My vote and your vote should count the exact same way.
