@Casekteam@RationalEtienne@elonmusk Yes but in the end it's the same: millions of deaths. Do you want millions of deaths for certain (fossil) or a tiny chance for a nuclear disaster that will probably have only a few deaths? Complete nuclear meltdown of the planet won't be caused by power plants but rather bombs
@Casekteam@RationalEtienne@elonmusk That's the histeria part. Carbon emissions already kills millions of people today (actually 1 in 5 deaths today https://t.co/O1MRkjSlKn). So we're living in an equivalent of a nuclear disaster already
@howardrgold1@elonmusk Additionally there are ways being developed to extract energy from the nuclear waste so the waste becomes an energy resource again!
@howardrgold1@elonmusk Fossil fuels also have waste, you just don't see it and it is dumped in the atmosphere causing a lot of harm and pollution. At least with nuclear you can put it somewhere where it doesn't harm people, of which there are many sites all over the world already,
@toly@noriods@Google And this is why I use an ad blocker. I understand ads are necessary but it's for my own safety mainly. When ad providers can guarantee they're not serving scams or install malware or whatever I block everything
@solflare_wallet Hi! I cannot split my stake account. There is a JS error saying "cannot read property lamports of undefined". Could you please fix this? Thanks!!
@SBF_FTX This is awesome! Have you heard of olivine as a carbon sink? It's the geological equivalent of trees (and therefore a much older method to store co2 than in living things). See eg project vesta or greensand
@SBF_Alameda it's not possible to deposit SPL tokens on FTX anymore via Solflare. Because I get a new address everytime, Solflare complains with "We don't allow minting recipients accounts if their SOL balance is 0" since a few days
