A list of things that real people are genuinely concerned about.

Things the government should be attending to, rather than tinkering at the edges and remaining quiet on most major issues.

Mine will be non-exhaustive, of course, so I'd welcome any additions [in good faith] that I can use to write up into a forthcoming article. [Stop the boats will not be included]

In no particular order:

1} Stop the free pass given to far-right thugs who suffer zero action or consequences.

2} Climate change and its attending ramifications.

3} UK press regulation and fairness within the media.

4} Ofcom

5} Return to the EU

6} Far stronger stance on the US

7} Active steps to halt the genocide in Gaza

8} Social media regulation

9} Higher food standards and less supermarket profiteering

10} Energy & water company's rampant profiteering halted

11} More effective policing on our streets and roads

12} Health equity and more money/structure for the NHS

13} Removal of Palantir from critical national infrastructure

14} More accountability for firms that rip off customers and provide shoddy services at high prices

15} Police that actually enforce laws instead of standing by while people flout them

16} Criminalise auditors and masked thugs who intrusively film without consent
