@SatamHistorian Which seemed to serve as the follow up to this story. The swapping of places between Nicky and Sonic is also just apparently some time travel I think?

@SatamHistorian There was another story that elaborated further. It was just Sonic in the future being flung back in time by an Eggman time machine if I remember right. Then Some of the later stories in one of the books has Nicky just being Sonic all the time. Not sure of all the specifics.

@HCStealth @Head_cannon I find it funny that the new map doesn't really clarify if CD is an island or a continent. S4ep2 stated it was a nearby continent but looking at both Origins and the other maps together it does seem "islandish" due to where it would align with the oceans. Island name when?
