Amadiyah's elevation of approximately 1,400 meters above sea level has made it a prominent landmark in the region. However, like many ancient cities, modern development and infrastructure have made it possible for the city to grow and adapt to the changing needs of its residents.

So, while the mountainous terrain presents challenges for expansion, it doesn't mean that the city cannot grow or develop in any way. Like other historical cities, Amadiyah has evolved to accommodate contemporary life while preserving its unique character.
