Adele Olejarz is the undergraduate research assistant, and current social media coordinator of the G-ScalE lab. Pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in CompSci, she assists many of the other G-ScalE members when their research calls for a few extra digits.
Noel Brett is an esteemed guest, and honorary member of the G-ScalE lab! Noel’s interests in digital games lie on avatars and interfaces. Particularly, Noel's research looks at how design practices and social affordances interact.
Adrian Scigaljo is an Applied Sciences Masters Candidate. His focus is on computer generation of coherent interactive fiction that remains interesting, meaningful, and non-repetitive.
Qirui (Wayne) Wu is an Engineering Masters Candidate. Building on his past experience in the game development industry, his research focuses on level design, battle rhythm, and virtual economy balance.
Lai Wei is an Engineering Masters Candidate. Her project focuses on colour quantization and image processing, and aims to use image quality assessment to evaluate visual aesthetic similarity.
Gabriel D’Alimonte is an Engineering Masters Candidate whose work relates to generation of software artifacts, particularly for scientific computing purposes.
Pavanjot (Pav) Gill is an Engineering Masters Candidate. He is working on a code generator which constructs ‘platformer’ games from specification files
