Living with a chronic illness for 13+ years is like looking in a tunnel and knowing it is a train. You can sit and wait or fight. I FIGHT: PoTS / MCAS / hEDS
@CrohnieClothing I am sorry for pain you have. I know how it feels when people offer advice and you have tried everything, but I went illogical to solve this. I replaced entire bag each time I went to the bathroom. I used coloplast wipes, eakin cohesive, 3m cavillon barrier. 2-3 days clear!
All, I am losing the battle, but still fighting. If you are interested in my CaringBridge, you can find it here.
Please just be considerate of friends and family if you post there.

@OfficialCricut said Sr. tech would resolve fast. My husband went to @MichaelsStores to buy another so I could give one as a present. They said at check-out, no returns on Joy (if opened) due to #poorquality. Take care of your customers, consider benchmarks like @BrotherSews
@OfficialCricut I am disabled, homebound and ill. I am teaching my daughters to sew and craft. They take time to come and spend it with me. We connect through crafts, sewing. I got a #cricutJoy because it is simple, but it doesn’t work and @OfficialCricut (support ID 3143319)
@rlaras33 @bookbabie It is because of my disease that we have learned many home “remedies”, such as the eply and others because otherwise I would always be in the hospital. My care team is fantastic that way. Teach me to fish 🎣 attitude.
Hubby helping me with the #Epley maneuver. But with my cervical issues, it is hard. Wish me luck guys! I have toppled over like dominoes twice today already. #vertigo ugh!
@rlaras33 @bookbabie Absolutely, I have a “triad” of diseases that tend to go together, but it seems illogical at first. 1: PoTS; 2: hEDS; 3: (probable) Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (updated from progressive systemic sclerosis). It is a lot, feel free to reach out to discuss. DM me for contact info.
@OfficialCricut I have been trying to get help w/ customer service. My Cricut Joy bought on @QVC doesn’t work. I sent photos, videos as requested - No response except it was sent to technical. I planned to use it for Christmas Cards and present - not that you care! Ref: 3143319!
@tranquileyes30 I am FULL LOCKDOWN. I am high risk and 2 people from my home town have died from this and my parents live there and usually visit, but they are high risk too. We have to be reasonable and do what we are being asked to do in order to get through this.
Ok, well my husband has put me on paper towels for bathroom use since I have an #ileostomy and sprayer in my bathroom.
New benefit of #ostomy - less dependent on toilet paper!
@mamasahotmess04 I am so sorry! Our pets are part of our families. I know mine just know how to stitch my heart together when I have a bad day.
I 😭 SOB even when a fish dies. We have an aquarium and lost most when we moved 2 yr ago because I ended up 🏥 and hubby couldn’t do everything. #pets
@Halflifekat I have it - SICCA (Sjogren’s plus Another Autoimmune (Scleroderma). The blood tests sometimes show it, the biopsies sometimes show it. If you have dry eyes, mouth, etc., then the same treatment is most likely going to help regardless of the test results.
@Halflifekat I have to guard all my cups, esp. beside my bed at night due to #sjogrenssyndrome. My animals drink out of anything they can!
They have 3 LARGE water bowls that we wash 🧼 DAILY - at least twice and one we wash twice!
Aaarrrggghhh!

@inthiscoldworld Loud pops can mean rotator cuff tears and may stop hurting after a bit, but your arm will be less useful.
But #bff those of us with #ChronicIllnesses know what it means to have #truefriend, don’t we?
I say #LoveHimMORE HE must feel like 💩!
