Great to see our work explaining the mechanism of @Droplet@Freezing on @Superhydrophobic surfaces just published in @NaturePhysics. In addition we show how one can harvest this knowledge to design @icephobic surfaces.
Congratulations to Heikki Nurmi PhD student of #RobinRas of Aalto University in Finland for the successful defense of his PhD Dissertation. By far the fanciest clothes I had to wear as the opponent in the defense, out of hundreds of PhD Dissertation defenses, in my career.
Recently, AZoNano spoke with researchers from @ETH_en and @LabEmerging about their work that has created a gold nanoparticle coating for antifogging on transparent surfaces: https://t.co/TLpVPCoJFY #coatings#nanoparticles#nanotechnology
